Antarctic beech

The walk through these massive ancient trees, below Point Lookout in New England National Park in New South Wales, was my highlight of the trip Alistair and I took in November 2008. Not a bad achievement really, given that our holiday also included the Grand High Tops walk in the Warrumbungles and the spectacular subtropical rainforests of Dorrigo National Park.
